Hi there again, its been very busy these last few weeks and I will tell you why. Heather's middle aged gap year has turned into semi retirement. She now enjoys pottering about in her garden and is slightly addicted to fabric. She has combined these two hobbies into a small craft business The Sparkle Gift Company.
Her latest idea is to make fairy and gnome fabric seed bags. Dave from Kelpie handmade gifts is going to sell them on his stall at Lomond Shores.
As I mostly stay at Garnetbank School , Claire at Fairytastique has drawn a very cute picture of me, so I have been out and about looking at cornflowers in Scotland. My fabric seed bag is going to be a cornflower seed bag. This is good as cornflowers are easy to grow and attract bees and butterflies into the garden.
The first outing for the seed bags will be at The Helensburgh and Lomond Artisans Craft Fair in Helensburgh on October 3rd.
Soon there will be more gnomes joining my gang with more easy to grow seeds which are great for bees and butterflies.
